first days of school
The first few days of school are always the most productive days. Miracously, I'll wake before the alarm clock goes off, commit to my CCA activities and other chores while completing future tutorials in advance. I'll feel extremely cheerful and confident.
Then, as if suddenly realising the effects of gravity while I'm about to fly, I change back to the old self. The part of me others see for 350days in a year, saving the 15 other days for the start of school every semester. I start to doubt I can accomplise so much within the short 24hrs everyday. Then I'll start to ignore my duties one by one. First the laundry, then the lectures, then the tutorials...... blah blah.
Hopefully, I'll be able to break that cycle this semester.... which is unlikely since I've started skipping lectures already.
Some interesting things I will be doing this sem:
- Stare down into my toiletbowl for at least ten five minutes everyday to ensure the flashing system stop flushing after every flush. It keeps flushing if left unnoticed
- Taking up Malay lessons because all other electives can't fit into my timetable
- deciphering the words of my lecturers. I've figured out 'genie' is genes, 'logarimas' stands for logarithm and 'tate' is actually data.
