About the clutters

I've been trying to get back to writing but I've been procrastinating.

The past year has been very fruitful, even better than 2008. but with everything moving at the speed of light, the things i've overlooked are also accumulating. My room is messier than ever. My laptop is full of junk and has only 325 Mb of disk space left. My important documents are all over the place.

2 years ago, I was at the lowest of my life. And that was the point I've decided that I've got to move out of my comfort zone. I started pursuing a list of things I never imagined I would. This has helped me thus far. It's just the mess that I can't really stand. Hence, I've deviced a plan to get my life in good order again.

I read in a book that all things effective are simple. Strategies that work stem from one single core idea and not a cobweb of intertwined concepts. What I need to do is simply to dedicate a small amount of time each day, no matter how difficult it may seem, to do something about the mess.

The idea is that if I clear the clutters faster than they're built up, I'll be able to clear them before the end of the year.

First of 2010

It's 2010, the third decade transition I have witnessed in my life.

This time, it was a little special. I was on top of a 60th storey observatory deck with a crowd of Japanese people screaming the numbers in a language I did not understand. And when it hit Zero, everyone queued up to get down the observatory deck. Within 20 minutes, the place was empty.

That's the highly effective and task oriented Japanese for you :)
