MAD DAY IS COMING!!!!!

2 papers this coming tuesday, each with a duration of 3 hours. That's 6 hours of examination in total. I can foresee I won't sleep well on monday and the lack of sleep will amplify the stress build up on tuesday. I declare tuesday as MADDAY!

I gave up 3 of 5 quizzes the last mad day, i wonder if i can pull through this one. It's always in the midst of exams that I realise I've taken many things for granted... how to get my honours at this rate????

blah... too late to feel sorry for myself. I shall get into robot mode and study hard for the next 18 hours.

I shall not shave for one week

plans

The worst of my exams is over. I'm left with 2 more papers which I don't intend to study for. This means I'm on an unofficial 2 weeks break until I commit myself to work on a wheelchair robot that knows how to pick up things on the floor.

I spent the first day of the break sleeping. My only plan for that day was to have a haircut which I did not accomplish. I realised how lazy I am. When I have the freedom, I'll just sleep it away. 18hours of sleep is not enough for me. Whenever I'm awake, I have to resist the beckoning of my bed which I'll fight away with strong determination and always manage to stay off it for at least 15 mins.

Sleeping induces headaches...... really painful ones.

My life is so different from the way I like it to be. I like to wake up every morning at 6am. Go for a jog at the beach until I see the first ray of sunlight. There, I'll sit facing the sea and enjoy the freshness of the morning air. Then i'll walk slowly back and get changed. I will then have my breakfast at macdonalds, read the newpapers while I sip my hot tea and get ready for the rest of the day.
In reality... I never wake up before macdonalds change their breakfast to lunch menu and there isn't the rest of the day to talk about.

Hence, I decided that I can no longer leave my life to randomness because it will only mean I'll sleep the entire intersem away. I need to have a plan, something that i will focus on and will keep me from wanting to sleep. I need a solution and I think I've found one...

STUDY!!!!

I'm just kidding. I am planning to do greater things like

1) Make a board/card game

Do not belittle the power of card games. I have learned from Weihong that card games are more than the brainless Donkey or Uno that we're familiar with. Some of the good card games out there can teleport you to the dragon's cave to slay the dragons. Some of them can bring you to the gate of the citadel to battle the enemy troops. So many fantasies can be realised with just that few pieces of cardboards. I'm going to have my own card game too.

2) Create a story blog

3) STUDY!!!

lost energy and inefficiency

Exams and fever have to come together...... arrrrrgggggggg

I suffered the worst on Monday. I used up two packets of tissue papers in the first twenty minutes of exams and I had to use my sweater to blow my nose. My table was covered with soaked tissue papers and a slimy green sweater. I'm sure I scared some of the people around me.

The rest of the week I had to study despite burning at 39 degrees. Endless cycles of study-headache-panadol-sleep. And despite that effort, I think I'm going to dabao my EE2005....... wasted too much energy given out heat.

The next paper is coming and I'm not recovering fast enough. sian sian sian

It's the time of the semester

and tomorrow marks the beginning

The next one month will be torturing because I'll involuntarily withdraw from my favourite activities like morning sleeps, afternoon naps and daydreaming.

So friends and strangers, you can help by

1) wishing me good luck
2) giving me exam tips
3) telling me how you're suffering as well

yup....

NTUNPCC unit dinner

This evening we had our first unit dinner in the year. For some reasons, Kenneth kept telling me how long it had been since we last met and that made me puzzled because I won't consider half a year to be a long time. Of course, I picked up the sarcasm after remembering we're course mates and we're supposed to see each other every school day, that's if I go to school.

Why spend 4 hours and $5 on travelling for a lecture you won't understand?

That aside, I witnessed something very amazing. I was talking to the ever smiling Peiling regarding icantrememberwhat and before I realised, 8 other guys were talking to her at the same time. The entire session, Peiling had this group surrounding her and she managed to attract everyone's attention. The best thing is she did not even realise that she was the focus of attention. I suspect it's her smile that makes her so pleasant. She always come to mind when I think of the word "Charisma".

Peiling is the role model to look up to when you're talking about interacting with people.

My lucky charm

Four-leaf Clover
Even if you're not from the green isles, you just might share in some of that luck o' the Irish. The four-leaf clover is your lucky charm.

Druids used four leaf clovers to see evil spirits and friendly fairies. If you start seeing magical things however, we recommend laying off the clovers for a while. In fact, you don't even need to possess the actual clover. A necklace, pendant, key chain or tattoo promises the same good fortune of the ancients.

Take note brides and grooms—the mere dream of a four-leaf clover foretells of a successful marriage. Actually finding one might mean quadruplets.

Semiconductor Quiz!!!

6 a.m, I woke on the chalet bed while the rest were snoring happily. I Quickly grabbed my bag and headed back home. On the way, I tried to recall all the formulas I had tried to memorise the previous night while gambling, playing X-box and watching guess X3. My brain could not function because I had to wake when it was the sweetest time to sleep and I had only slept for 2 hours. I reached home and quickly logged on to edventure, wanting to print the formula sheets and check the location of my quiz. There was something wrong with edventure and the webpage kept hanging at one point. Cursing at my luck and the fact that I was under prepared, I gave up printing the formula sheets and proceeded to check the venue of my quiz...... and...... gasp.......... I realised there's something else I didn't know about the quiz..... the quiz is tomorrow......

What a nice feeling
